We have a wonderful team of experienced staff members throughout the school who guided our students through the challenges of the pandemic, back into more conventional learning methods and managed to achieve a Good Ofsted Report on the way – this is quite an achievement of which we are all very proud.
As well as a focus on academic subjects, the school strives to offer access to broader areas of enrichment for our students as we prepare them for life beyond school. We have worked very hard over the past few years to raise standards of behaviour within school which has been recognised in recent parent voice feedback.
We are an inclusive school and welcome applications from all potential students.

Why choose Fox’s – As a parent of two students at Bishop Fox’s, I believe the school offers a caring and supportive environment, where children feel happy and confident to learn. All children are offered numerous opportunities to develop a variety of skills allowing them to become independent learners.

Bishop Fox’s gives young people the opportunities to achieve in and enjoy a tremendous range of academic, sporting and musical activities, both in school and in all of the extra curricular activities offered.
At Bishop Fox’s we actively encourage all students to achieve their full potential in all activities, as both individuals and team members, in preparation for their future studies and careers.
KS3 Student
There are many reasons why I chose Bishop Fox’s School as my secondary school. The lessons are exciting and interesting. I really like the teachers – they are kind and helpful. We have activities week every other year where you have options to go to Disneyland, London, Manchester or somewhere closer to home! There are also lots of after school clubs you can join like Football, Hockey, Science, Art, Dance and many more!
I love Bishop Fox’s School and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I am now in my last year at Bishop Fox’s and have had the best time here. The opportunities here, both in and out of the classroom, are fantastic. The staff really care about students and do their best to help you achieve maximum potential. The school site and our facilities are exceptional. The playing fields are lovely and we have a great astro turf pitch. Bishop Fox’s is a truly inspiring school, which really does uphold its motto: “High Standards and High Expectations”.
