Information for Parents
Protecting Children
Protecting our students is one of our main priorities, for more information please download our policy documents from the following links:

Home School Partnership
We believe that a strong and active home-school partnership is essential in enabling students to reach their potential. There will be many opportunities for you to come to school to support your child throughout their time at Bishop Fox’s. A formal Partnership Agreement recognises the relationship.
Do not hesitate to keep in touch with us about any matters which might affect your child’s education. The Form Tutor should be the first point of contact.
If you wish to meet and talk to a member of staff please write or telephone the school office to make an appointment at a time which is convenient to both parties.
Reporting to Parents
In the Autumn Term all parents are invited to an “Academic Tutoring” discussion with Form tutors
Additionally you will be invited to one formal Parents’ Evening each school year to speak to subject teachers. If you would like information on your childs progress at any time please contact the Head of Year.
All students in Years 7 to 10 receive a full report each year plus shorter ‘interim grades’ reports. In effect parents will receive a progress update each term. Year 11 students receive one full report following their “mock” examinations in December. Results of GCSE and other exams are reported in August. Results of National Curriculum tests are reported at the end of KS3 (Year 9).
Throughout their time at School all students will record achievements in their planners and progress folders.
