Thank you to those who contributed to bag 2 school. In total we raised a fantastic £105.00 which will help to pay towards new saucepans and other food technology equipment. The next collection will be on 11th October.

FUNDRAISING – FOOD AND TEXTILES
In the DT department we are hoping to raise funds for new equipment.
BAGS2SCHOOL will pay us 50p per kilo for your second hand clothing, shoes, belts, bedding, handbags, Soft Toys, curtains, towels etc – get rid of the old, in with the new!
Please fill the attached bag with unwanted items as above (please not no NO TOYS or GAMES!) and return to the school on the 16th or 17th of May.
(Bags cannot be accepted on any other dates).
All bags to be taken to the textile room T9 before 9.00am or after 3.05pm on the above days. Any adult wishing to bring in bags will need to report to the school office.

Bishop Fox’s Menu Masters
Jeremy Brown visited Bishop Fox’s school to act as head judge in a joint competition run by the school and Taunton Association of the Homeless.
The competition set the challenge of designing and costing new sandwich ideas for Taunton Association of the Homeless East Reach cafe.
All students at Bishop Fox’s have weekly business studies lesson throughout Year 9. During the marketing module students were given the challenge of developing a range of new and exciting sandwiches for the cafe. Students had to develop their ideas, had to cost and source the ingredients and produce marketing material. The wining ideas would then be put on the menu in the Associations cafe.
