Year 7 students at Bishop Fox’s took part in a ‘Freshers Fayre’, a chance for them to view the wide variety of extra-curricular activities on offer at the school. Packed with stalls to promote both new and existing clubs, the Fayre was a showcase of the huge range of opportunities on offer from sports to music, science and languages, drama and dance, to baking and golf. There really was something for everyone.
The school believes strongly that these extra activities can have a really positive effect in terms of making new friends, learning new skills, working collaboratively and enriching school life outside the classroom. All of Year 7 are expected to commit to at least one activity, and at the Freshers Fayre students were able to visit the stalls, meet the staff and students involved, and sign up for their chosen clubs.
